Build your very own working Orrery from a cardboard kit.

This amazing cardboard model shows the movement of the inner planets, Mercury and Venus, and the Moon and the Earth.

Assembling the crank gear, rubber belts and grooved wheels allows you set the plants in motion and watch their changing positions in relation to each other and the sun. A single revolution of the handle corresponds to one week of planetary movement.

The sun, with bright LED illumination shows not only the changing of the seasons, but also the emergence of the lunar phases, eclipses and the phases of Venus.

It took us between 40-50 hours total to assemble from scratch, so you'll need some time, a tube of glue and careful fingers, but we think the reward is worth it.
